I should probably introduce myself huh? 

I'm Melissa, but better know as Momdusa (mostly on tumblr), and I looooove dolls. For the past two years (omg no- three?) I've been regularly stalking Target, TRU, Kmart and Walmarts in search of the elusive but fashionable little monsters. Soon they were joined by Bratzillaz, Novi Stars, Moxie Teenz and Liv. I have a knack for finding and falling in love with dolls as they're being discontinued, and while this sometimes leads to heartache, it has also brought me $2 Moxie Teenz and $4 clearance Novis. Mostly it has brought heartache, though u_u 

My biggest fandom accomplishments are finding a wave 1 Lagoona Blue two years after they were available in stores, and being Monster of the week. Twice.

It all started with Barbie of course...

Nowadays you'll mostly find me on outings with my family, and a doll in my purse, trying to sneak away to take pics of them picking apples or examining artwork or taking in the sites. Sometimes you'll find me in my office, setting up photos of my dolls for mini-comics. Occasionally, you'll catch me drawing them. And once in a blue moon, I'll do some work so I can afford this hobby!

(I really can't afford this hobby). 

Other things about me: I think I'm hilarious. I have a potty mouth, but am trying to cuss less. I'm an Angeleno by birth (and at heart) but currently reside in lovely San Diego. I have a daughter, who's amazing, and a dog & two cats, who are not bright but man, do I love em. When I'm not staring at the computer trying to figure out what to write next, I'm reading tarot cards for folks.

So far all I have to show for this hobby is a closet full of dolls I don't have room to display, a folder full of fan art, and the fact that I'm beasties with a fictional cat. Oh- and the amazing friends that I've made while collecting and monster huntin', both online and IRL <3
